Selling my DIY off road trailer. Only selling because I want to upgrade to something bigger. This trailer is built off a harbor freight 1750lb trailer with tent rack built from 1.5x1.5x.120 steel tubing. Factory tongue replaced by 2x2x.120 steel tubing that runs 6 feet of the full 8 foot trailer. 3/4 inch floor that's been heavily poly saturated with the bottom painted with asphalt emulsion for weather proofing. 3500# axle with 2 inch hub spacers to fit Jeep wheels.
Here's a basic list of what's included:
CU Off Road Max Coupler
Tuff Stuff Alpha 2 RTT
Tuff Stuff Alpha 2 Annex Room
20 Gallon water tank (mounted in interior, not underneath)
Plumbed in 12v water pump to faucet on exterior and water fill.
Tongue Battery Box
Red Arc BCDC1225D wired to Anderson plug to connect to vehicle. Includes solar input. (in battery box)
Will include relay needed to wire Anderson plug on jeep side.
NOCO Genius 10 with shore power plug (in battery box)
Fuse panel and 6 switch control center. Currently only the water pump is wired to a switch. Includes multiple USB and 12v plugs.
Additional 12v panel on outside on passenger side to run up to tent while it's deployed.
Locking fridge slide with an additional slide for stove.
Standard Jeep wheels with Adventuro AT3, includes spare.
20lb propane tank with quick disconnect for shower and separate hose with Coleman stove adapter.
Portable Tankless water heater.
Custom built 270 degree awning.
I currently have an Alpicool CF35 (35 liter) fridge and it's all powered by a 100amp LiPo4 battery with BMS from Overkill Solar. These can be included for an additional 800$.
I have it set up so that I can run an external LTE antenna wired to a modem that's wired to a wifi router so I have internet to work remote. The LTE setup isn't included since I'll need it for my next rig but I can step you through building your own set up. With my current set up I had around 20-30mb everywhere I camped out west (New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming).
I just spent a month and half living in it full time and it's worked great. I went through some fairly rutted out trails to find camp sites with no issues whatsoever, the tongue is fairly long and you can easily open the jeeps rear door while hooked up. You can also fully jack knife the trailer without hitting anything. I think you could actually shorten the tongue by a foot and still have no problems if you need.
