I am new to the wrangler world. I am upgrading all lights on my 24 sport s to the led's. I upgraded the fender flares with the paint to match led from a sahara. I know i need to go to dealer and get the headlights and fog lights flashed. Will this also make the Led on the flares work?

You mean in general work or as DRL? Flashing for LEDs should get them to work in general, but your sport might or might not have the wiring for the side/fender flare lights to be DRLs.

to work in general/ the left side will flash intermittent. The right nothing. Also if could be as DRL that would be a huge bonus. So once flashed they should be working / if not a drl then once switched on they should work as designed?

Should be the case, though I have no personal experience with that. My Sport doesn't have the wiring to be DRL, but I have LED switchback bulbs there (that didn't require a flash).

Agree, just buy a Tazer (mini). Save several trips to the dealer.

Maybe I'm missing something. Why would you have to "Flash" anything Plug your headlight in and go, unless you didn't get the load resistor type (CAN) I believe they call it. If you want side DRL's run a line from your fuse box from a terminal not being used that only turns on when the ignition is on. Like cigarette lighter, heated seats. You can hard wide both sides in parallel So when the key or button is pushed they come on. Buy a Mini Tazer or at least check them out...

He swapped his halogen fender flares for painted, LED Sahara fender flares. He didn’t just put LED bulbs in a halogen housing. Swapping anything halogen for OEM LEDs requires flashing, no?
