My 2019 3.6 non etorque alternator is slinging grease from the pulley. It looks like a pita to remove the alternator. How difficult is it to remove the alternator, replace the pulley and set the belt tension? A forum search I found one mention about replacing the pulley but nothing about steps to remove the alternator and set tension. TIA

The bolts holding the alternator were quite difficult to remove - broke two ratchets and three sockets until I got a combination which would function. Using a long pull bar allowed me to remove the tension and get the belt out of the way. The tensioner will set the proper tension on its own.
