Just an FYI, and Maybe a slight rant. I ordered some touch up paint from the dealership in Sierra Vista 5 weeks ago.

I was told 7 to 10 days.

Then 3 to 4 weeks.

Then giving a specific date of Jan. 7th.

I went by yesterday, and nope, now it's March 23, and no guarantees on this date. So I had to cancel the order and get a refund.

Unfortunately I won't be in tombstone in March. They blamed supplier issues. Don't know, don't care. Try and re-order later I guess.

Pretty sad though. Touch up paint used to be a stock item for most dealerships. I remember the days when they had a big display right in the lobby.

I just wanted to touch up my hinges from a few rock chips. Nope, can't fricken get it.

My ‘24 got a ding on her first trip off-road. Touch-up direct pen set did her right.
Not bad on price either.

Seems like some colors of touch up paint are on backorder. I can't get black, dealer told me at least two or three weeks.

Thanks for the heads up. I was unaware there was a place to get factory touch up paint other than a dealership.

Around the same price, may be more with shipping, will check.

For touch up paint I like to use https://drcolorchip.com/

I’ve been using them for over a decade on many different cars. It’s not magic, but it’s worked well for me for small paint chips.

Nice, always good to have options. Thanks for posting.

Shoutout to Academy CDJR in Indiana, they sent me an Anvil one as a Christmas gift after I got my Rubicon from them in September.

Not sure all the paint in the world can fix what I've done to my Wrangler. :like:

I would definitely say call around to different dealerships around the state and/or country. A lot of things like that will go to the bigger dealerships that sell more before they go to the smaller dealerships that don't sell as much as the big ones.

Do you have to order from the dealership... plenty of touch up options online from multiple retailers...

I bought my touch up paint pen on Amazon. It's Mopar hydro blue. You don't have to get it at a dealership.

I couldn't get factory touch up paint for my JT back in June. Hydro Blue. It was totally unavailable, not just backordered, completely unable to find or order it anywhere. I needed to touch up my hinges and ended up with non-Mopar paint from :puke::puke: Amazon. TouchupDirect. It matched well for the little spots I used it on. The factory Mopar paint appears to be available for order now but I don't know if it would actually get shipped.

With the new computerized paint matching capabilities at new paint suppliers they can match any paint. They matched some paint for me off of a paint chip. They just put the chip in some kind of computerized analyzer and whamo , mixed it up right there.
