I'm curious as to why some people are so vehemently opposed to the activity. I completely understand not wanting to participate, thinking it's dumb, etc. I just don't understand the hate...
Is it because they don't want people touching their Wrangler? Seems reasonably rational to me. If I saw someone sitting on my motorcycle or in my naked Jeep ...:mad:

(The jealousy and/or anger about which Jeeps get ducks, especially by self-proclaimed anti-duckers, is very baffling to me, too...)
I don’t hate the activity, just not a fan. Maybe it’s because I’ve never been ducked and I’m just jealous. If I was ever ducked, I would appreciate the gesture, but would not display it on my dash…it would be much happier hanging out in my hot tub.

It's primarily that I don't want strangers walking up and messing with my vehicle, even to leave a duck. I don't think you should touch someone else's car. Secondarily, if someone gives me a duck now I have to throw it out and I feel bad about the wasted resources in making and trashing an object.

Don’t bother sending one my way…I have an anti-duck filter.

If you're an attractive female Jeeper, and are all ā¤-bent because you haven't been ducked in a real long time, feel free to P.M. me, and we'll see what we can come up with to make you feel better. I may be no spring chicken, but I have a whole box of ? and know how to use them.

A woman that works for me has had a bone stock Sahara for about 8 months and received about a dozen ducks. On my 3rd jeep over the last 10 years all somewhat modified and received my 1st duck about a month ago.

I rather enjoyed never being ducked
Maybe they were ducking. Her and not the jeep?

Seriously y’all, ducking is just a whimsical way to show appreciation for someones Jeep. Those Jeeps bring use together, that’s why we are on this forum too. Lighten up, smile about it and give the duck to a child.

Now back to the topic of a Bronco with a duck… they just wannabe a Jeep.

Have to laugh, it is the stock Jeeps with all the ducks displayed. I have a JLUR with lift, 35's, winch, bumper, etc. received one duck in four years. I am fine with no ducks. I know I have a nice rig that keeps on evolving the longer I own it. I don't need "duck" validation.

I joke with my wife, save the pink ducks for the most badass Jeeps you can find....... haven't actually done it yet because they'd probably just get thrown in the trash. That's fine, but it could also explain why you don't get ducked. People can tell who might like them, and who might not. Why waste a duck.
It's all good. We're all in this to enjoy the Jeeps we have. ?

I get it, we make a joke of it, only duck the most stock Jeeps around. I am going to buy the biggest bag I can find on Amazon;):jk:

Picked up some drunk ones for Moab next week so my kids can hand out.

Nice little optional thing we have like the wave.

there are a million jeeps in my area and the chick fil a near me gives ducks every time I go. I’m able to unload it on another jeep within a day or two. The next jeep I see with a ton of ducks displayed is going to get a rubber chicken just to throw them off.

Though some may find the toy duck thing cute and entertaining, I prefer not to have strangers climbing on or stuffing ducks on my 2023 Black colored JLU, scratching the crap out of the now flawless painted surfaces. Plus, I don't need the Jeep's small windshield blocked with un-needed objects. No offense to the duck lovers, I just follow my own path, and don't always play the same game.
