All new to the forum so excuse me if this has already been discussed. I just installed a bumper with a tire carrier on our 2023 Jeep JL and went to put the spare tire on (35" tire w/ Aftermarket 18x9 +1 offset wheel). The problem is the wheel studs are to short to safely hold the tire on. This bumper with the tire carrier has bolts that are tig welded on
. So doing some research several people have mentioned the dorman longer studs, but those are pressed in it looks like. So can i knock out the current ones i have and press in the dorman brand? Or do I need to come up with a longer bolt that I can bolt on.. So confused by this.. lol . Anyone run into the same issue with needing to replace the wheel studs for longer ones and what route did you take? Any help and if you have pics that would be greatly appreciated.
