New order LED lights.

So I was reading on here you can't do a 2018 Rubicon Order anymore with LED lights. I went to the deaper to see ifnthey could find any on dealer trades...and he said he could still order one with the LED lights?

You can still order as of right now. The question is how long it will take and if the order will actually reach production.

My dealer who is a high volume dealer said I can still order but the wait time on orders with restricted (delayed) options is 12-16 weeks. I'm assuming because they're adding time for the restricted parts to be available.

It’s entirely possible it’ll be available at least at the beginning of the 19 orders. No one knows yet though.

all dealers in my order will still order a 2018 for you but LED headlights no longer an option.

I ordered 7/14 with LED lights and was told of the restriction at the time of placing my order. Still no VIN

Hmm...so who can say what is actually going to happen, but here's what I've got so far.

Ordered on 7/14 as well. Got my VIN and estimated order date of 8/1/18 on Monday of this week 7/23.

Then my vehicle showed up on my dealers website as "coming soon"...and under the added options on the vehicle, it said "LED Lighting Group Constrained Item...may cause a delay in scheduling this order."

Given that, I contacted Jeep Chat and asked them to update me on status, and mentioned the LED lighting delay...and was told all parts and materials for mine have been gathered and its just waiting to start assembly. I asked if the estimated ship date was still 8/1/18, and was told it now shows 7/31/18.

I am assuming that if the chat dude's information was worth anything, and they really do have all the parts reserved for my order, that it will start being built on 7/31. At least I really HOPE that's what is happening.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Bandana. Hope a VIN comes your way quickly!
