I’m new to the forum, but not new to Jeep.

My Jeep life started with a lifted CJ5. I was 17 years old, and my father told me it was a death trap…I’m still alive..😅

The CJ5 was followed by a CJ7, an off-road focused TJ Sahara with a 6” lift and 1” body lift, and my most recent, a very off-road capable JKU 6 spd.

I sold the JKU this past year and am now looking for an 18/19 JLUR.

I just missed out on an 18 JLUR with the exact specs that I am looking for and the buyer was asking $27.5.

I was supposed to look at it this morning, but someone put a deposit over the phone last night. I learned a lesson.

looking forward to reading through threads and getting to know everyone.

Welcome! I would avoid the 2018. I had one and as the first year of the JL generation, it had A LOT of issues.

4 or 6?

I’m looking for something with 60-100k on it. I figured the gremlins would be sorted out. But…maybe not?

Welcome to the forum.

We once missed out on a vehicle in almost exactly the same manner. A couple had put a deposit on it over the phone barely 1 hour before we called the dealer to do the same thing. Ah, well.

Wonder if he is a member here? He’s now working on a Gladiator overlanding rig.
