New JL owners: How long from date of order to delivery

I ordered my JLUR on January 16th and got a call today that the Jeep had arrived, so basically 10 weeks. I am going down tomorrow to sign some papers and hopefully pick it up on Wednesday or Thursday. I need to finance it in order to get the 5% below invoice pricing, which I knew up front. Apparently I can pay it off without penalty but I do need to go through the process. I'll post some pictures after I drive down to the dealer tomorrow, it's about a 90 minute drive each way. Getting excited!

Congratulations. Sounds like you must have gone through Station Jeep in Mansfield. That's the same deal I got. I ordered 2/24. I checked in w Rob today and he said at least 4 more weeks so I'm likely on the same schedule as you. One question, did the honor the agreed upon price? I know there was price increase from Jeep and I was wondering if that was gonna be an issue. I put $500 refundable down payment on my JLUR. Any info would be appreciated.

Let me answer your questions once I pick up the Jeep and yes, it was Station. I signed everything but I don't have a copy of the paperwork with me. I will pick up the Jeep on Friday as I'm flat out for the next couple of days. My sense is the price was adjusted for the price increase, but I need to confirm that fact. They have been very nice to deal with, although the communication has been minimal.

I ordered my JLULR on 2/16, hit KZ on 3/6 and was delivered to my dealer on 3/25. I will add, that it was unloaded from the rail car on 3/14 and sat for 11 days before it was delivered to my dealer. Regardless, at the time of order, I was told 6-12 weeks, so I can't complain about a 5 week and 2 day turnaround! I'm so happy with it!!

I ordered my JL on 2/24. Chatted with Jeep weekly in March and they told scheduled 3 weeks in a row. On 3/22, they told me it was in F with no estimated ship date. They seem to be totally bogus in the chat , since i got an email from my dealer they same evening saying it was about to ship out. Got the call last night, that it is on the lot and ready for me to pick up. They originally told me 6-8 weeks. So happy to have it in under 5 weeks. Picking it up on Saturday. YAY

Moral of the story = Ordered a 2018 JLU = Pretty darn quick

Ordered a JL = No end in sight for delivery ( 2019 JLU's will be on the market before 2018 JL's hit )

I loved the 5% below invoice, but I seemed to know more about the Jeep I was ordering than my salesman did. Also frustrating that I was led to believe I could expect delivery around 4/6 and now I find out i will be a good month. Anyway, I would really appreciate it if you would let me know how they handled the price increase. I would hope that since we ordered before the increase, we should be locked in to the price the dealer agreed upon.

I also ordered from Station in Mansfield ma. last Saturday. I was told 4 to 6 weeks. I feel like if it's 8 weeks I will be happy. For those that got 5% below you got a great deal. I did get a much better deal at Station than any other dealer in a 50 mile radius. Everyone else did invoice or 1% below with the Affiliate program but they were breaking a little after a couple weeks. I will have to wait till the finance part to see what the hidden costs are before I leave a 5 star review. Happy trails.

I ordered my Punk n metallic JL on 2/19 and according to Jeep Chat my order will resume production the 2nd week of April, they informed me there is a delay with the paint color I ordered... so bummed, I was hoping to have my Jeep by then... looks like it will be the beginning of May before I see it, maybe even closer to mid to near end of May....

Yes I know, I was obsessed at first checking 4 to 5 times a day, But now I Have stepped away and only check every 3 to 4 days... so exciting 1st Jeep/vehicle I ever ordered... Since I no there won’t be any updates until the 3rd week of April no need to check.. have a great day.. best of luck with your Jeep..
