Hey, new Wrangler owner from north Jersey. Just got myself a Sport S. Don’t plan on going all out with it. Going to try to enjoy somewhat stock form, I would hate to drop that much coin for upgrades on a lease. I’d want to hit some easy trails around here, any one know of any?

Hey there! I'm in central NJ eagerly waiting the arrival of a Rubicon order! I'm also looking for some spots to go. So far seems the best NJ has to offer is in Wharton State Forest down south. I don't think it's very technical but sounds like a huge area to explore. Also, there are a few PA spots and purpose built off road parks there that aren't too far away. Hopefully we'll get some more members in the area!!

A group from the forum has set up an April 14th ride at Rausch Creek! Some of us will be wheeling April 15th too.

We have a group on the Rausch site called "JL Wrangler Forum Trail Ride". Feel free to log on and sign up!

It shows up as a blue 5 ride, but don't worry we won't wheel on anything beyond our weakest Jeep's capability.

All information on membership & fees can be found here: http://rc4x4.org/park-information/membership/.
Trail info can be found here: http://rc4x4.org/trail-system/. Also listed on that trail page are some phone apps that include the trail maps.

Thanks for sharing.
I guess there isn’t much of anything around the north part of the state that’s worth the drive.

A friend of mine and I are trying to take our Jeeps off road somewhere, anyone have any suggestions of a spot to check out within about an hour from the Rutgers area?

*preferably free like a state forest
