Recently purchased, now prepping for mods. This will be my 4th Jeep build and first time I have documented step by step. Most of them I started as soon as I got home with it. I have driven about a month and have really liked driving it stock but just can't leave it that way. Here is a list of items on order or on the way.

Barnes Pritchett Canyon front bumper
Clayton off road 1 1/2 inch springs
Superwinch SX10SR
Metalcloak front and rear adjustable track bars

The Clayton springs showed up yesterday, I did order those from Northridge for the forum discount and shipping was quick. Bumper shipped and I think I will send it to powder coat as soon as it arrives, past bumpers I painted myself.
In the past I would just throw parts on as i received them, this time I will take bit more of an organized approach. Going to take measurements all around and then start with bumper and winch, remeasuring after each mod. This will be a fairly modest build, I spend a fair amount of time in the mountains but my level of difficulty has dropped some.
The 1 1/2 springs and 35" tires should just about do it. We will see?

Superwinch SX10SR Ready for bumper to get powdercoated.

Still planning on installing bumper and winch first and then measuring, Clayton springs are here still waiting on Metalcloak front and rear adjustable track bars. Winch is heavy so kind of curious how much height difference after install.
I did order the Mopar longer front lower control arms.
Wheels and tires are a bit of a hang up, can't decide. I have always ran mud terrains but thinking of all terrains this build. The Mickey Thompsons look good and getting some good reviews.
Really like the AEV wheels probably going with the Pintler.

Bumper and skid to powdercoat today. $375, seems like a lot but I have never really had much done. Another 2 weeks to wait for that. The welding on the Barnes bumper was outstanding and would highly recommend at this point but will see how it installs.
I took some measurements, nothing scientific, just to the fender so I could get an idea of how much sag from the winch and bumper and then how much lift with the clayton springs.
Looking for on board air recommendations. Under seat is a good option but would really like to put in the engine compartment just for ease of wiring but i do get the heat issue. I have and air tank but like to have both.
Looking pretty seriously at the Mickey Thompson Boss A/t if anyone would like to chime in.

Bumper and winch installed yesterday, wiring left to do. Bumper installed well, great fit, winch pretty tight. I will get some better pics, height change, and install notes later.

Finished up the winch wiring today and got everything buttoned up. Had to add some rubber where the winch wiring comes out of the box and some of the wires rest against the grill. The bumper wound up being a perfect fit and I really like the look. Probably would not have done the Superwinch if I were to do it again, its just too tight a fit. I added about 110 to 120 lbs with the bumper and winch and front in drop was minimal, maybe 1/2 inch. The bumper did not have space for factory fogs so I ordered some Diode Dynamics for mounting on the bumper. Emailed a bunch of questions to them and they were very helpful and great to deal with.
Still deciding on shocks, wheels, and tires.

Added the Diode Dynamics Fog lights. Haven't really tried to know how effective but they seem very nice. Bought the wiring adapters and worked great with the harness from my plastic bumper. Diode Dynamics has been great to deal with and seams to make a nice product.
Received the mopar extended control arms a couple of days ago and still waiting on the Metalcloak front and rear adjustable track bars. Thinking of adding the control arms to the stock suspension to see if I can notice a difference.
Going to do an ARB single, any suggestions for mount would be great. From what I am seeing under seat mount good option.

Did a simple one yesterday, Factor 55 Flatlink. Been ordering most of my stuff from Northridge and must say, with the forum discount and there quick shipping very happy overall.
Got notification that Metalcloak parts shipped so may dig in to suspension when that arrives. Still not sure if I want to do before wheels and tires.

Decided to start in on suspension, kind of taking it slow. Did the front tear down and ready to add springs. Had to call Clayton, the new 1 1/2 springs, they are the same height as stock rubicon springs. They tell me the 2" gain is from spring rate. I bought the metalcloak bumpstops and they require drilling out spring perch so I left that till later. Think I will finish up the front Thursday. Here is where I am at now.
The 2 below are the Clayton and the single above is stock.

Just ordered the AEV Pintler wheels. I had the Salta on my Gladiator so I thought I would go a little different. I do really like the backspace +25 and the AEV quality has been great.

Finished up the lift today. The 1 1/2" Clayton springs netted me about 1 1/2 inches. Install was not too bad, seems like there is always something, had trouble lining up the upper rubber perch on the rear springs. I went with the Metalcloak front and rear adjustable control arms, not sure I would recommend as I had to spend quite a bit of time reaming the hole on the axle mount.. Think I had to do that with the steer smarts also though. I also added the longer Mopar front lower control arms. I did leave the stock shocks and the stock sway bar connectors, clayton did not recommend, I think it will be fine but will upgrade at some point in time. Received 3 of the 5 wheels yesterday, which was what Northridge had in stock, those guys are amazing at how quick they get stuff out if they have it in stock. Still debating tires, gonna drive it like this for a bit.

Curious why you didn’t upgrade to longer shocks. Did you at least install some extension brackets?
