In retirement, you have to have a plan to keep yourself entertained. Build a routine. I find that I am busier now than I ever was when I worked.
Ted, I'd probably normally be busy as hell, but with my wife's mother laid up from a stroke and her caring for her, as well as covid hitting within a couple months after I retired, it just went to about nothing for quite a while. I've done some work on the truck and Jeep and some things around the house. Now that bird season is here, I'm going to run over to southern AZ to hunt quail. The dog is just recovering from what amounts to a rotator cuff injury. I want to do some jeep trail day trips. I'd like to take the wife, but I may just go myself. Seems like we're held in limbo. I hate it. I shoulda just kept working full time if I'd had known we were going to be tied down.
