This easily adds 5hp. You can use helium infused paint to actually make the rig lighter, too - this really helps but sometimes you need a spoiler on the roof to provide down force on the rear end after the helium paint.

I painted mine yesterday. I did not remove it. I used cardboard as a barrier. It took under five minutes and looks great. I wiped it down first with paint thinner to get it clean.

Just do a dynomax muffler delete.

better sound, no resprays, more clearance, better mpg and performance due to added lightness!

I did this with all three of my JKs - I used Rustoleum High Heat, and it held up very good. I installed a used like-new Borla touring muffler that I got for a great deal on my JL, and I painted the OEM muffler black once it was off just in case I want to go back to It in the future.

I did this today. Pretty easy. You can easily put cardboard on the top of the muffler and work around with an 1x1 over spray piece in your non spray hand. You get a lot better at it. I cleaned the muffler and then took some high grit sandpaper to it. Then cleaned again. Then hug heat primer. Then high heat paint.

How do you get all around the muffler. Im assuming the parts you cant see are not painted.
