Question - I want to add Rigid cube lights and am thinking about using a simple rocker switch vs.the mopar aux set-up. Other than having 4 switches, is there any advantage to using the Aux switch?

Not unless you plan on adding other electrical stuff .. if your just doing one or two , then getting the aux panel isn't needed

I'm not computer savvy enough for adding links and pics and such, but check out the youtube channel Ben Anton. He did a video about installing his own switches to power a couple sets of cube lights. Hope this helps!

So for rocker switches, it's binary? any recommendations?

I went with installing the Mopar AUX switches. I just prefer a clean, factory look and the switches look really clean.

Do they work without the flash for Uconnect? -E.g., if i have my local shop install them, then flash later?

Are you referring to the Mopar Aux switches? If so, no, they don’t work without the flash. You’ll need a trip to the dealer or a Tazer to get them to work.
