Making Changes after a week of ordering?

Placed an order last week for a JLUXR. my understanding is generally there are no changes after obtaining a VIN, but some here have been successful. What would be the proper steps to be able to add a package? Forgot to add the Safety Group, and would like to have it added. Thanks for any advice

Just ask the dealer, have him bug his area manager…if it hasn’t made it to D1 then there’s really no reason why not…I had the same problem (Trail Cam in my case). Took a few emails and then a week for them to sort it, but sort it they did

Your dealer can change it, they just might have to get a district level rep involved. I changed my color a couple weeks after my order was placed. And added the engine block heater. Got a higher level rep involved, but they did it. It all depends how hard your salesman wants to work. If he doesn't, then just bypass him and talk to a sales manager. The longer you wait the harder it will be to change.

At the rate these Wranglers are being built, I’m assuming mine isn’t even close to being D1. It’s a good thing I was dealing directly with the manager. Hopefully he can pull through. Thanks guys

If you're only a week in then worst case you just have them reorder it. Original Jeep will still come in sometime, and they will sell it as dealer stock.
