@Baja Designs, I'm considering adding a 10" light bar to my front bumper (OEM Mopar steel), under the bull bar and in front of the winch.

I'd be using it primarily for back road/trail driving but also want another low-mounted light source for foggy/dusty and severe rain conditions. I have the Squadron Pros (driving combo) on the cowels and the SAE fog lights. The Squadron Pros don't work great in severe rain and the fog lights aren't quite bright enough off road.

Can you make a recommendation between the S8 and the OnX6 for my needs? Similarly, what light pattern would you suggest, the Driving Combo or solely the Wide?

Thanks in advance,
Matt

Are you open to other lighting companies? I’ve had good luck with rigid.

Can’t go wrong with either BDs or Rigid. BD are pricier but kinda like light jewelry. Rigid are great also.

I am basically doing the same research for a 10" lightbar to mount to my XRC Gen2 front bumper.

Looking for an amber light option to aid our vision during severe weather including snow, fog, heavy rain plus traveling dirt roads.

May I kindly ask if anyone would know the better choice for my driving conditions:

Driving Combo v Wide Driving?

Baja S8 v Baja OnX6 v your best alternative?

Looks like the OP was directing his/her question directly to BD and not the forum members.

So, @Ketch I think it depends on what you mean by dirt roads. Is that flat, smooth, higher speed dirt roads, or rutted out or rocky roads where you might dry 30 mph - 40 mph or less? If you're traveling 20 mph or less, the fog/wide driving pattern. If you're traveling greater than 20 mph, the driving/combo pattern.

Buy the one that costs less because they'll both do the same thing.
