I have a 2018 jeep wrangler jlu, which I absolutely love! Anyway, getting ready to out 3.5 inch lift and run 35s. I keep reading about tge front drive shafting having to be replaced with any lift greater than 3”. It is my everday vehicle however to drive it on the beach. So does it still need to be replaced and do I need suspension lift with drop arm? Also, what do i do to adjust speedometer afterwards looks like it cost 600.00 for gadget to do. Help thanks

One more question are rough country lifts decent. Couple of people I have talked to said they just have great advertising. Thoughts?

What 3.5" lift are you going to install? It would help to see what all is included in the lift kit.

You can get away installing a 2.5" lift and run 35s juts fine.

Here is mine (Sahara) on a 2" lift and skinny 35s on stock wheels.

I have a 2018 JL Sport also. I run a 2.5” Teraflex lift and 35” BFG KM3s. I’ve been running that set up for the three years I’ve owned it. There’s no need to throw another inch into your build unless you feel you need it for some reason.
You are correct though. It’s highly recommended to upgrade your driveshaft if you go 3.5 or higher.

Those two 3.5" lifts you posted are not complete. For a 3.5" lift you need adjustable front and rear track bars. The drive shaft would have to be changed from 3.5" lift and higher.

Rather go with a 2.5" lift and 35" tyres.
