Are those the boxes that show the name of the waypoint?@KevinM60 can you check your ToR and see if you have waypoint boxes back? Once I got home and hooked to wifi they re-appeared. Wondering if it was just me.
Hmm yeah the boxes with the descriptions. Mine were showing in my phone but not my iPad.Are those the boxes that show the name of the waypoint?
I had those when we were out on the trail. They were showing when we were close to the actual waypoint. I display mine on the Uconnect through CarPlay and the features are a little different.
You have some great pics in this post.Well I finally made it home with 40 miles to spare on the tank.

I got a nice scrape on my brand new swaybar skid. I'll throw some paint on it after I wash the Jeep tomorrow.

Bad day for tires/wheels. @KevinM60 and @GMONEY both broke valve stems and I took a nice chunk out of side of one of my Coopers. Going to assess the full damage tomorrow.

Overall a really fun day. I'm glad we decided to do Holcomb as I was able to really get to see what the Jeep can do now and what skills I need to work on.
Rocks will do what they do.More damage:

It really was a game changer like everyone says. You can actually just put it in 4lo and it will climb over stuff. Downhill is really where you can see a difference. In 1st gear the Jeep just does the job for you. I was pretty impressed on the west rock garden on Holcomb. I just put it in gear and never had to hit the brake or gas. I made it so much easier to only have to worry about steering and not have to work the gas/brake/clutch at the same time also.Sad I did not make it. Looks like it was a blast! How did the 4:1 do @SadRobot ?
It looks like I exaggerated about 3-4 inches on the bend of the skid. It’s more like 2” and being the rear skid there was no reason to remove it to switch out the engine unless they did anyway. That puts some doubt on if the dealer service left the bolts out but they did come out somehow and didn’t shear off.Rocks will do what they do.
Looking under mine today the back edge of the transmission skid had no bolts and was hanging down about 3-4 inches from being bent up between the frame supports. My thought is when they replaced my engine they didn’t put the bolts back in. My clue is that there are no sheared off bolts and the threads are clean except for mud inside. I didn’t notice until the center curled up from yesterday and the back edge went down. I don’t even want to take a simple oil change to those clowns now.
I didn’t realize until after the fact that you were controlling the winch along with the MT. It probably would have been a little easier if one of us spectators would have run the winch for youThe one thing it did not help with was the big ledge/waterfall in the middle garden. It climbed up and the tires could spin all day without any gas BUT despite that I couldn't get traction to keep climbing. I'll have to make a return trip and try again next time. This time I had to winch it.
Ha yeah it's a bit of a balance between running the winch control, shifting between 1st and neutral, holding the wheel and then also letting out the clutch. It all worked out in the end though. It looks like I exaggerated about 3-4 inches on the bend of the skid. It’s more like 2” and being the rear skid there was no reason to remove it to switch out the engine unless they did anyway. Exactly. I know I had them in and torqued to spec but I didn’t check those ones after the engine install. They did leave the front bolts to the engine mount brackets loose and I had to tighten those. I overlooked checking the back ones though.Weird about your missing bolts though. You'd think if they sheared off you would see them in there and it would be a bit crazy if they just shook themselves loose on the trail.
