The STT Pros will just surge that off. It is a mere flesh wound.
Since you've wheeled with both the STT Pros and the Mickey Thompsons what are your thoughts on which tire you feel has better grip on slippery rocks?

I don’t think there is much difference in grip on slippery rocks. The Cooper STT PRO have a stronger side wall than the Mickey Thompson tires. The Mickeys are way quieter though.

I don’t think there is much difference in grip on slippery rocks. The Cooper STT PRO have a stronger side wall than the Mickey Thompson tires. The Mickeys are way quieter though.
Thanks. I've been thinking about switching to the Mickey's next. The Coopers have just about 20k miles on them right now. I'd really like to be able to go up to 40s but I'd need a lot of other things to happen first.
