Trying to decide on new front bumper. What do you have and do you like it?
Does it work with factory fog lights?
Is it able to mount other lights and if so what did you mount?

Thank you

I have the Carnivore stubby front. Uses stock fog lights, and matches my rear bumper, which is why I picked it. There is a mid length and full width version that you can mount pods in as well. I have the 20" DV8 light bar on it. Which isn't pictured. The light bar pictured i didn't like and changed it.

The carnivore is on my short list, I really like the look of it. Did you do install yourself?

Yes, the fog lights are a little bit of a pain on the shorty, but manageable.
Did the front license plate holder come with it or is that an add on?

An aftermarket Jeep Rubicon style steel bumper with a steel skid plate and X-Bull winch. Got everything on eBay. I have regular Rubicon LED fog lights which fit fine. Came with the winch plate, license bracket and bull bar. I did repaint everything before installing, makes it look way better.

On my 392 I have this aluminum stubby from Next Venture Motorsports. It is a stout winch mount with a superlight aluminum skin over the top. It doesn't work with the factory fog lights, but they make a mount for fog lights behind the skid plate that work well with the Baja Design fogs I have mounted there.

On my other Jeep, a JT Mojave, I have this Motobilt Crusher Series stubby bumper. It has no provisions for the stock fog lights.

On my other, other Jeep, a JLR, I have this Rugged Ridge XOR bumper. It works well with the stock fog lights.

I had been looking at the ebay ones, looks like overall good reviews. What did you repaint it with?

Thanks I never thought of the ability to flat tow with it.
yeah man! I didn’t want some big bracket that got in the way of my ground clearance when wheeling. The welds are solid, it bolted on pretty easy and the “nose/loop” section has mounting for additional lights and doesn’t stick obnoxiously far out….tighter to the grill which I definitely prefer.
