What are the brackets required for? Are they needed for the Sport fenders?

They hold the lights in and support the front of the fender. Sport fenders will already have brackets that will hold the lights. I offered the brackets because buyers brackets might need to be replaced (broken) and I went with completely different lights that didn't need the OEM brackets.
