Hey Kevin, I think we were both in the 2022 Lakleland waiting room. Glad to see you placed another order, I can vouch for Mike but I understand it's frustrating not hearing back when you're anxious to place an order. I do know he is extremely busy and tries to respond accordingly.

My only issue was with the actual dealer not wanting to stay competetive when this forum has helped put them on the map. The discount offered for a 2024 392 is less than other dealers, and the dealer fees are a lot higher as well. I brought this up to Mike but he said the discount for the 392 isn't as high as the rest of the lineup and he can't do anything about that. For this reason I passed on ordering again from Lakeland unfortunately.

I had to do the same thing unfortunately, I couldn't leave all that extra savings (3% vs 8%) on the table like that, but from the emails I did have with him back and forth I would recommend them if you dont want to travel out of state for a new factory ordered Jeep.

We know Mike, and we appreciate you greatly for coming into this forum and helping us Florida crowd while no other Florida Dealer would. Hopefully your higher ups see the current competition and match the 392 discounts with the rest of your lineup, no reason to exclude it. Especially when you will gain many more sales your higher ups are leaving on the table. Maybe offer 7% under on 392 with tread lightly and option to compete for finance if buyer isn't paying cash. With all of the price increases, the extra discounts help us on the 392.

Do let us know if in the future you'll honor 7% off on the 392 with tread lightly (with your dealer fee it really makes it 6% under)

Mike just called to say it's in. Picking it up on Saturday. Ordered on June 17th and will pick up on December 9th.

12/8/23 UPDATE ... actually picked it up today. A very good experience. They also gave me a good price for my trade, and it was an easy in and out with Mike at the dealer. Also left with a full tank of gas ... Mike said that was just the way they do it. Glad I found this thread and ordered from Mike at Lakeland Dodge.

Ordered my '24 with a power top on June 8th and it arrived this Saturday, Dec 9. I'm heading over from the Clearwater area to pick it up on Wednesday, Dec 13th, and will post how that goes. So far Mike has been excellent with his open line of communication the only downer was the union strike halting production causing the 6-month wait.
