I had contacted them about doing my t-case install and was told by one of the employees that they don't work with anything that would involve replacing fluids (transmission, diffs, oil, etc.). I'm waiting for confirmation from the owner that this is not true.
They were doing a 392 swap the last time I was there so I imagine that they would do a t-case. They re-geared my axles so I know for sure that they do diffs. I know that this past month they moved to a bigger shop so during the past few months they might have been turning down work because of the upcoming move.I'm still waiting to hear back from G-Force. Possibly. I'm going to do the work myself. I called 10 shops in town and no one was interested in doing it or just gave insane quotes. One shop told me 6k for a t-case swap and 3 days worth of labor.
Dang!! Do it yourself and if it isn't that bad you can charge other people only $5K to do theirs.
Yeah we'll see how it goes. A few forum members are getting together and we're going to swap mine and @Pig-Pen's.
If you are near Corona let me know when you are doing it. I don't know how much help I would be but I am good and standing there and giving words of encouragement.
We're doing the swap over in Woodland Hills. @roaniecowpony and @818JT are lending their knowledge/help to me and @Pig-Pen got access to a shop to do the work. Should be a fun day and in the end Steve and I will have some Rubi t-cases.
