Not sure if the allen was moving but yeah, I torqued the nut down pretty good and its tight. Guess I'll just keep an eye on it. I also don't have the best tools for the job so I kinda just made do with what I have. Tough manipulating a tiny 5mm allen key lol.
Glad the problem is solved! I haven't re-tightened mine in over a year, but it doesn't hurt to do a once-over every 6 months if you have the time.

Well I went to buy a nice 18mm gear wrench to have handy in the jeep, and when I tried just now I guess I didn't get it tight enough. I think I'm going to have to bust out the allen. Do you guys just use a regular 'ol L shape 5mm allen? Any tool that will make it easier to grasp?

After I had my Clayton lift put in, my shop had me come back for a 500 mile "re-torque" - did your's ever do that? Probably a good idea to have them check that everything is to spec ...

They never mentioned it, but I was actually going to set something up with them soon. They did make marks on all the bolts so I can see if they come loose, which is good at least. So far they all seem tight except this, of course. I probably put 5-700 miles on it already.

You can use any small hollow bar/handle as a “cheater bar”. Short end in the “bolt” long end in the tube. It should be tight enough in the hole to not fall out on its own if it’s the right size.
