I just got a hitch mount from eBay. I always dug the way they looked, and I insist on an American made flag, even though the hitch is Chinese, I was running out of time.

I’m old school, perhaps, and think patriotism is a good thing.

A Jeep is the perfect flag wearing vehicle and I think the Military should continue to support the brand, even if it’s to a lesser extent. Toledo must be a magical place.

Happy Birthday, America!

Happy 250 America! I run this for the 4th, Allegiance US made flag and a hitch mount from probably not the US... I got the pole from Fanpole.com a few years ago when they ran a crazy online advertising campaign that actually got me to order one. I think they are still around and I'm happy with the quality of the hitch mount/pole. Probably too expensive for what it is, but I've run a 3x5 flag behind my pick-up at 55mph and it survived for at least a short drive.

Saw one just yesterday on the back of a nicely built JLUR. Yep our American flag must be made in USA too, got one for the house but not for the Jeep....Independence Day...the fourth is just a day. :)

I bought the “Valley Forge” flag from Sam’s yesterday, the aluminum pole seems very weak.

I’m going to take some measurements today and see if some thin wall steel conduit will fit inside it to beef up the strength. Or a wood pole.

I’ve got some time, any other ideas?
