We traded our 2012 JKUR for a JLUR over the weekend. On the JKUR, I installed locker override switches so that I could turn the front/rear lockers on/off whenever I wanted (eliminating the 4LO & Speed limitations). For those that may also consider this mod, I also installed a "master" switch in the glovebox that would prevent accidental engagement - when the "master" was ON, the switches worked, when the "master" was OFF, the switches did nothing. For the JKUR, it was as simple as wiring switches that would ground pins on the locker relays. I took a quick peek under the hood of the JLUR and the electrical system is completely different.
Does anyone know the process for overriding the OE locker switches on the JL?
For extra credit: Does anyone know how to override the OE swaybar disconnect?
