Been around for a while, used to be fairly active on Jeepsunlimited, Jeepgarage, Pirate 4x4, JK owners, and several others with less frequency. Even got my badge of honor of being banned from Project JK because I was talking about Synergy before Eddie cozied up to them.

I have found this forum to be a great resource for problem solving on my 2018 JLU.
There are a lot of wild opinions that challenge logic sometimes. However I have been able to easily filter out the chaf.
I very much enjoy the discussions on the Jeep issues that seem to plague a lot of jeep owners.

My personal experiances include the following hot points:

1- paint bubbles around and on the door hinges, front edge of the hood.
2- can buss problems causing multiple fsilure alarms, and stop the vehicle from shifting into drive, start stop failures etc.
3- electrical shorts in the drivers door imbilical cord where it passes up under the dash panel.
4-Broken wires in the door inbilical cable due to fatique of the wires.
5- elimination of the auxiliary battery under the main circuit panel.
6- adding a start/stop eliminator module to eliminate the unnecessary wear and tear on the engine and starting system.

I happy to say that my JLU is happy and well. Runs and starts great.

I used to really be in to Plymouth Cuda's and was active on CudaChallenger.com. At one point, they quit allowing the posting of pictures, and it died very quickly after that.

I like this one now that I own a JL, and Wranglerforum, which I got into when I had my YJ. I didn't know there were other Jeep forums out there.....

Yeah Facebook killed a lot of forums.

Back when I had a '97 XJ I used to frequent jeepsunlimited.com and it's now gone.

I was surprised this place was so active when I found it when I started looking at JLs.
I remember jeepsunlimited from back in the day. I had a couple YJs back the and if I remember right they were bought out by one of the off road shops and went downhill from there. Must have been the early to mid 2000s.

I thought that of ALL Wrangler owners until I met some cool guys in Idaho through overlandbound.com who invited me to go off roading with them while I had a Subaru Outback.
I used to frequent Overland Bound. I helped them get it off the ground, actually forgot and left my emblem on the Forester we traded for this Sahara.

It was less about tires and more about places in the beginning, but it pretty much fizzled out.

I tend to leave my stuff pretty stock, but can still find useful information here.
