While driving on the highway this weekend, my Jeep just did a hard reboot. (Video attached). All power cut out for a second and then came back on, all while driving around 60mph in the rain. After the reset, the power steering didn’t work. I pulled off at the next exit, put it in park, turned it off, restarted and it all worked fine, including the power steering. Could the rain have caused a short in the system? Has anyone else experienced this problem? Going to try and make an appointment tomorrow with the dealer, but know they are slammed lately. (Took me a month to get an appointment for just an oil change.) Thankfully it’s still under 3/36 warranty.
