Hello, I encounter the following problem with a 2014 jeep cherokee, KL, 2.0L Diesel engine:
- 4WD service appeared on board, I disassembled the transfer box located in the front, I found the coals from the motor that drives the coupling fork between 2WD and 4Hi blunt, I replaced the coals and the actuator recovered.
After reassembling the transfer case I noticed that from the button that selects the terrain mode it no longer connects the fork on 2WD and 4Hi. I removed the button and cleaned it. I put it back I selected, it went a few times and then it stopped again,
I put the original Witech tester on the car, I didn't have any errors. I entered the DTCM in real values, when I select other field modes it sees them both on the board and in the tester. I went into the actuators and tried to change the modes, I switched from the actuators to 2WD then 4Hi and it works.
If I give the actuators a re-learning of the fork position, I get the following error code U0403-00 (Implausible data received from T-case) on two modules PAM (park assist manager) and EPB (electric parking brake) and no longer wants to do re-learning, the wheel spins but only nothing moves.
I delete the error and it disappears, it is not permanent. I gave it a proxy realignment and it makes the same mistakes. I updated all the modules that needed updating and no changes. After a few actuators in the tester "PTU is not responding", as if no more actuator with fork on the transfer box and I can no longer do any actuation in the tester. I removed the rear plugs from the DTCM for 1 hour and when I reconnected them it recovered and I was able to operate it again from the tester.
From the tester I set it to 2WD, I set off, after 40km / h it switches to 4HI alone and it stays that way, it doesn't return to 2WD mode and I don't have error codes. I suffer the same thing when the car is in place, I put it on the tester and on 2WD I move it from the button to 4HI and when I give it to the car it stays on 4HI and does not return on 2WD.
I also replaced the DTCM computer with a new one, exactly the same symptoms, if I reset it on the computer I get the error code U0403-00 (Implausible data received from T-case) on two modules PAM (park assist manager) and EPB (electric parking brake),
I tried to make BCM restore proxies after the chassis series, the operation starts and then it takes me out and the following error code appears Negative response 31.
The car does not want to switch to 2WD alone.
