I started trying at 5:00 PM EST....and by 5:01 it was waiting list only! I'm not sure why I didn't get in but I'm on the waiting list......?

That sucks. I was refreshing screen 5 minutes prior to the start time. As soon as it said register I clicked. That gives you a spot for an allotted time, or until you click off of it. Plus I read on facebook that people that didn't go last year because of Covid got an hour earlier register.
