Here's my latest modification. I've had it in and out a few times and the latches work great. I am concerned about damaging the paint if I accidentally bump it with an edge during installation/removal so I put some door edge trim on the edges.

Here's my latest Backbone project. I bolted on some plastic cable clamps to provide attachment points for a cargo net to secure items to the top.

There is only one reason I wouldn’t buy this. There is one specific to the hardtop and another for the soft top. I have both hard and soft tops and will be changing between them. I want a security top that can work with either one.
Have you looked into the Diabolical, Inc Slipstream cover?? I run one and you can easily swap tops without messing with the cover at all.

Does the Jl version have the back bar to cover the gap? They are telling me they don’t have a Jl version. I thought I seen pictures of people with them.
