I'm on vacation in South America and have seen a lot of older vehicles. The original VW Bug being very common. Shortly after spotting a 1966 Mustang this morning, I came across what I am certain is the first ever full size Jeep pickup I have seen. The closest thing would have been a Scrambler. But this J-10 I have not come across before. Enjoy a trip down memory lane if you ever had one.

None... but it pays well.
Back when I worked in Sacramento in 1997, a customer had a decent high milage J-10, with a 401 and dual fuel tanks. He wanted to sell it at a good price, but I was not looking to buy. I think $2k was his price. Only if I had thought about it more. Only seen a few of them prior, and being in high populated areas, odds should have been better for as much on road experience as I during my California years.

When & where I grew up, it was either Ford or Chevy when it came to trucks. Dodge trucks were a minority for sure but the died in the wool Ford old man bough one of the first gen redesigned Rams in the early 90s due to the slightly larger cab and overall exterior styling. I remember everyone thinking the front end resembled a big rig. To this day, the smallest new car dealership in my hometown (heck entire county) is the JDC lot. I remember driving by it a couple of months ago when I was visiting my parents.
