Issue with Curt 56407 trailer harness

So I have had the Curt 56407 trailer harness hooked up with my halogen taillights with no issues for a couple of months. I installed some oem led tail lights today and have a strange issue. When I plug the driver side tail light in the side light at the top left corner of the tail light turns on and stays on even with vehicle off. The passenger side is fine. I flashed the computer with JScan for LED tails etc and still that light stays on. When I bypass the trailer harness all works fine Anyone know how to fix this? Is there a realtor that I need to install or something?

I think the Curt module is the relay, almost sounds like the ground is backfeeding power across the switching leg, but I’d think it turn them all on. Check your wires for issues. Then see if removing the fuse from the power lead to the Curt shuts it off.

What’s odd to me is it only does it with the LED light not the Halogen light. Also odd that it is only the one side. Wasn’t sure if this was some sort of known issue with Curt harness that could be fixed.

Seems the Curt box wiring was flipped internally. Swapped ground and power in Curt box and all is happy
