Is this normal?

So changing axle fluid on my 18 Rubicon and found this. Sometimes when i first move the vehicle in the morning i hear this clunk noise well i know where its coming from now.

Its basically the rear end, where i believe the locker mechanism is. Its a thin round piece of metal with a pin and you can move the metal piece up and down and it hits the pin when moving it. Best i can explain

I installed Rubicon Axles on my Sport and they did the same thing, been working fine for 5,000 miles so far.
