Is this normal?

Got a little movement here. I just purchased this 2020 Rubicon and noticed that every now and then it will vibrate a little bit if I hit a rough spot on the road. Trying to stay ahead of the possible "death wobble".

Totally normal.

That's not vertical or horizontal slop - that's the joint rotating aka "flopping" back forth.

If you just bought it I would definitely take it in and have it checked out. That should be a free trip for you and give you peace of mind. An 8 second video with background isn’t enough for anyone to determine safety or diagnosis anything over the internet, and anyone that says they can or that it’s ok isn’t going to pay your repair bills if it turned out to not be.

How many miles on it? I replace my ball joints at 45k with Teraflex…nice and tight again, no issues.

First step, check tire balance, alignment…next step, any loose components/bushings. That’s what I did.
