Have this indentation in three places of the driver’s side front on the front? Is this how its supposed to be?

Those look like set up indentations for welding the two halves of the frame in a fixture. Robot does the welding......

Any idea what the source/cause of the dents are at the factory?

I inspect the frame on my '22 Rubicon Diesel regularly and have never noticed them.
I’ve noticed these on my 22 diesel. Those are the marking of the machines bending the hot steel into shape. It’s the jaw of the machine. I will double check soon and get back

I think the dents were the result of angry, disgruntled factory workers pre-strike. :LOL:
