Just bought a new Unlimited Rubicon X and wondering how the interior light knows the door is open. Older vehicles had the little push button in the door jamb but don't see anything like that on the Jeep. Do they use magnets or some other form of contacts to turn the lights on and off? Inquiring minds want to know.😁

Sounds like you might have sent the FNG to requisition a spool of ridge line. Or a BA-1100-N with an ST ring attachment.

to actually answer, they use the sensor in the door latch. These doors have a full wire harness going to them, unlike older cars.

He will come back empty handed unless he filled out and showed up with an ID-10-T form
