I have a 2018 Wrangler Sport S two door(bone stock) that I'm going to install this lift on. I've been reading posts regarding the Steersmarts sector shaft brace with trackbar brace and how it improves the steering response. Since I'll have the front suspension apart, is this something that I should add to my lift? I'm also wondering if I should also add a Steersmarts adjustable track bar.

Will adding these two parts adversely affect the AEV lift?

Any thoughts?

If you have the $$ to do it all at once, why not? They should not adversely affect the AEV lift.
If you are planning on running a heavy wheel/tire setup it should help premature suspension wear and tear.

The AEV kit looks really nice. I had an AEV frankenlift on my JK and had ZERO complaints with their coil springs and bumpstop pads (I had Rancho 5000x shocks). The only thing I do not see with this kit is quick disconnects for the front.

You will definitely want to add the front adjustable track bar to center the front axle. My front axle was off by 1 inch after installing the AEV 2.5 lift, and I had a lot of bump steer. I ended up installing a Clayton front track bar.
Edit: If your on a budget and only can do either the sector shaft brace or an adjustable front track bar, I’d definitely do the front track bar first.

I am in the process of researching lifts. I am getting 34's mounted this week and curious how much total lift you got. Been reading most AEV lifts on a Sport result in about 3.5 inches. Just curious as I want to have it a proportional look.
its my daily driver and I off road whenever I can.
Thanks for any info

I ended up with 3.5 inches of lift. Will you be adding steel bumpers, winch and rockers? If so, they will decrease the height some. The AEV lift can handle a lot of weight and drives best when loaded. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I'm no expert, but I believe you are correct. Most say to expect at least a 1/2" to 1" more than what the lift claim is because it's based on a heavier Rubicon. It is dependent on other things as well like steel bumpers, winch, etc.

I have Willys sport and I installed a Clayton 1.5" lift and I got almost exactly 2 1/2"s of lift.

thanks for the reply. I have a stubby bumper with winch on it now. I read that the on road & highway ride is real nice. Being that, I do a fair amount of driving up and down the coast, I am leaning towards the AEV. How do you like the feel? I know its on the stiff side as its designed with overlanding in mind. Did you install it yourself?

The added weight of a stubby bumper and winch will help. I’d estimate you’ll have 3 inch of lift after it’s settled.
As for the rear stiffness I added 2 45 lb plates to settle the rear when un-loaded.

I was really happy with the on road drive ability of the AEV lift. What rating are the tires you are planning to get?

I installed the lift myself. If you have the tools and means I highly suggest you install the lift yourself. It will give you the experience to trouble shoot and maintain your Jeep in the future.

Have the track bar with the same lift, highly recommend it.
