Hey All,Hey guys,
I'm seeing a lot of threads with folks who ponied up the 3k for PSC's kit having issues with it revolving around noise from the system and cheaper components. Wondering if anyone has any recent experience from them that can speak to whether or not they've ironed things out? Also wondering if West Texas Offroad has themselves as kit for the JL at this point?
I've had my PSC Hydraulic Assist kit on my 2018 JLUR now for about 3 years. Tonight was the 2nd time I've blown out my PSC steering (tonight, I'll diagnose Sunday)or steering cooler (1st time on March 18th 2022).
This system is AWFUL for cold weather. After the first pressure blow they had me switch to an AC Delco fluid that handles the cold better and after a literal weeks they finally agreed to warranty the cooler and lines.
This kit is amazing when it's working (warm weather) but I would not recommend this kit to anyone dealing with regular harsh winters. I'm in Vermont and it's only 30 degrees right now, it's even worse during the colder winter months. I'm going to call them Monday once I know where the system blew out and pray they help me out again. I have the video of the spraying carnage from tonights episode if anyone wants to see it.
Just my .02.
Thanks
