I just put the plate back on, I have 3 ½ lift and it actually looks pretty good and it protects hardware. I know what you mean though, they look like fangs and I was thinking about taking off but when I saw the Tac weld, I better think about this, I dont want an Oh F*(& moment when I realize I should have left them on.. Bend the flares on the bottom up, of the original plate
