How do you know if you have uConnect?

Hi all,
I have a new 2018 JLUS. My salesman ran me through a lot of stuff this morning when I picked it up, and he told me that this Jeep is not equipped with uConnect since there were no buttons on the mirror? Yet when I read some of the threads under the uConnect sub-forum people are saying you use the green phone button?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure what the mirror has to do with anything.

What radio do you have... 8.4?

I have the 7" non-GPS, with the 12 month Sirius/XM. It's a brand new 2018 Sahara Unlimited that means anything.

UConnect is standard equipment for the 7"... but I don't see why you wouldn't have Uconnect. The NAV is optional with the 8.4" display.



Uconnect® 4 with a 7-inch touchscreen includes an AM/FM radio, available SiriusXM®[1] with one year of service, Bluetooth® Streaming Audio, Voice Command, Hands-Free Calling[2], Apple Carplay®support[3] and Android Auto™[4].

So, on my uConnect app on my iPhone it just says "There are no active subscriptions available." Just a blank screen on my phone with that message. That's why he said I don't have it.

That's odd... I couldn't think of any situation where any owner of an '18 JL wouldn't have UConnect. Have you registered for a Mopar account?

Hopefully someone who knows more about this would have some insight.

No you don’t have it. If You don’t have that Sos assistant button behind the rearview mirror.
