Benny,
I have a '22 JLU that has proximity and no keyhole in the swinggate. I'd like to swap out the stock latch-actuator assembly for an earlier one that was designed to work with a lock cylinder. Reason being I want to rig an emergency release from the inside in case the battery is dead or the actuator fails. Is the early one mechanically and electrically interchangeable and if so, part number? Thanks!
