I’d like to mount the HiLift Jack outside in the rear on the tailgate or potentially the steel bumper (without getting an aftermarket bumper).

Does anyone know of anyone making a mounting system like this?

Why would you want it out there in all the weather when Dominion Off Road makes a great inside one?

MTCamper is absolutely right--DON'T MOUNT IT OUTSIDE--

Keep the HiLift inside the jeep--it'll last FOREVER !

Mount it in the Cargo area, or under the rear seats--we've been doing that for years-

I looked at that, looks really nice, but I switch between HT and ST and would like a solution for both... THANKS!

Thanks Jimbo, that's a good point. I had not considered it under the rear seats, will look into it!

Good idea EAE, but --

The best/ easiest way to put it under the rear seat is to REMOVE THE HILIFT "FOOT" and the jack will just slide easy under the seat--and you can use either tywraps or bungee cords to keep it in place and no rattle !!

Good luck
