For sale is a new-in-wrap Hike It X9 pedal controller. Model #HI-589.
This device installs inline between the vehicle's accelerator and the ECU, using OEM-style connectors for quick plug-and-play installation. It allows the user to select from 36 different throttle response (sensitivity) settings. This can serve to tailor the throttle response for the best performance when towing, commuting, driving in a sporting manner, etc. When the X9 is turned off, the factory throttle response programming remains available and unaffected.
Critically, the various throttle settings on the X9 can be toggled through (i.e., changed) while the vehicle is being driven. At least one other brand requires the vehicle to be stopped and in park to change settings.
