Hello all!
I spent some money with Diode Dynamics for Black Friday and was looking to tackle my wiring and install Sunday (they're closed until Monday).
I purchased these SS3 pod lights as driving/fog lights and ditch lights. (Six total). I want to wire the lights into their switchbank, the D Switch.
The wiring harness they included is for wiring directly to the battery. I want to wire to their switch system, but I could be complicating things in my mind.
D Switch wiring schematic:
And the wiring harness for the lights:
Basically what I think I need to do is take the 'B' connections from the wiring harness and the 'D' connections from the wiring harness and add them into the D Switch? I think 'D Main Beam' wire to positive (red) in the D switch and 'D Backlight' wire into the dedicated backlight bus bar in the D Switch and the 'B Power' into the positive (red) in the switch and 'B ground' into the negative (black) in the D Switch.
Is that right?
I do not have aux switches, hence the purchase of the D Switch.
