Help with exposed under soft top rack from SMS .

So I bought the sms exposed soft top rack for under my JLU (4 door). Installed and now rubbing against soft top mechanism when I open or close on passenger side. So can open with out bending it out of the way...
Really frustrating as I spent hours trying to figure out what Im doing wrong. The back screws stand higher because they go through a factory hole that isn't used for regular soft top. Not sure that's the problem.. Appreciate any help...texted/called support..waitng to hear back.

I cut the screw to allow about 2-3 threads and it passes freely... There is intermittent contact on the drivers side with the soft top two..it just requires gently guiding it past the screw to allow it to lock...it left a scratch on the soft top frame..but not really a big deal..I just spend more time on this than I though I should have given it was designed for this and only this purpose...With that said.. I used it this weekend to go surfing and it was great...
