Help Requested in Figuring out Who Makes this Front Bumper

We found a 2012 Wrangler Unlimited that we like and had questions about who make the front bumper mounted on it. Its at a dealer and they do not know who makes the bumper. We are wanting to be able to flat tow the Jeep and needed to know who makes the bumper so we can ask the manufacturer if its strong enough to tow. I suspect that it is since it has a mounted winch but still want to be sure.

The Jeep in the photo is JK model. You’re best to checkout wranglerforum.com. You could luck out and find a JL owner who had it, but not likely to happen.

There were 3-4 times the number of bumper manufactures out there at the peak of the JK. They were all getting on the band wagon.

The JL aftermarket isn't near as good as the JK is/was. Even after 5 full years of production and consistently high sales numbers.

Not a bad looking JK, but those sad chopped fenders need to go.

They’re likely stock fenders, but someone cut them to give more clearance. Also, it should have the 3.6L Pentastar motor but I’d check to be safe. The 3.8L it replaced in 2012 was a dog. I’d get underneath and look for signs of it being off road and wheeled hard. Scrapes, dents, and dings are what you’re looking for. It could’ve been a mall crawler trying to look like they go off road, but it could also have taken a beating if it was wheeled.

Did some more looking and talking with the dealer. This guy actually went under the rig to see if he can find a bumper name and noted about how clean, straight, unscraped, and undented the underside is. Its a 3.6 L mall-crawler that might have seen some very light off-roading.
