Help ID this Unicorn Grill

So I'm converting my '19 JL Sport to a Rubicon and have been collecting the parts.
Found a guy selling a granite crystal (same color as my JL) Rubicon JT (Gladiator) grill.
I bought it and it fits great etc.... I even like the larger honeycomb grill.
However it has these "notches" along the perimeter. I have NEVER seen these "notches" on any JL or JT Rubicon, Sport etc. in pictures or in person..... can anyone identify what these are for etc ?

Never mind.... it seems I am missing the side trim which he removed and kept. I just have to remove it from my sport grill and reuse mine.
Still learning...
