I was looking for something to replace my faded plastic side steps and found these on Amazon. Are they any good or just more Chinese crap with bad welds and bolts holes that don’t line up? There’s not much out there that has a decent drop and upper standing ledges to access the roof in that price range. Any input would be appreciated.

read the reviews and look at the pics in the reviews. Looks like they don't snug up and cover the pinch seam

Can't comment on quality

Thanks for the response. I should have gone into more detail. I read the reviews and ignored most about bad instructions or corrosion. I live next to the ocean so everything not made of 316 stainless rusts and the average person can’t count 18 holes and 18 bolts and figure out they go together. I’m mostly concerned about things like: is the bracket holding the step going to fail with a minor bump?, do the fasteners actually line up with the holes, and this I have found from experience, did they fill the threads with powder coating causing instant cross threading ? I value the opinions of professionals at breaking shit.
