anyone have their hard top off for a longtime and then have any issues putting it back on, warping, expanding, etc.? I have a 2024 and store the hardtop/freedom panels indoors. I do not plan on putting them back on for a while.

If it's indoors and not subject to severe heat or cold it should be fine as long as it's supported flat and not subject to any long term torquing, compression, or tension.

I had mine hanging from the ceiling (four contact points) via my home made lift. It hung for 5 years before I sold the top. Put it on another JL with no issues. It was a 2 door.

Mine is hanging for several months at a time and I added supports for the full length of the sides to rest on to reduce the risk of distortion.
